The stories I write are intense. They explore power, devotion, and what it means to fight for the one you love. But I know that in real life, not everyone gets that choice. Not every love is safe. Not every story is told.
That’s why I’m so passionate about raising awareness for human trafficking — one of the most devastating human rights violations in our world today.
The Reality
Human trafficking preys on vulnerability. It strips people — women, men, and children — of freedom, safety, and dignity. The numbers are staggering:

In 2022, over 206,000 cases of trafficking were identified worldwide.

More than half of all victims are sexually exploited, and 77.5% of those are women and girls.

38% are forced into labour — often under brutal, hidden conditions.

In the UK, 78% of British victims are children.
And those are just the known cases. So many more remain in the shadows.
